Newhall School Burglaries Make Crime Blotter

This week Newhall saw six part one crimes. Two commercial burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one residential burglary, and two petty thefts.


Both Newhall Elementary School and Hart High School were broken into this week. Items were stolen. Click here for further – https://local.nixle.com/alert/4984752/


A cell phone was reported stolen from inside the Old Town Newhall Library on Saturday, 04/06/13. While the victim was in the computer lab he placed his cell phone next to the computer and it was stolen (ref -04680).


A vehicle burglary was reported from the 24800 block of Walnut Street during the night time hours on Sunday, 03/31/13. Misc. school books and Iraqi Currency was stolen (ref -04417).


On Wednesday, 04/03/13 at approximately 3:20pm deputies contacted a 59 year old female from Newhall on Lyons Avenue and Wiley Canyon Road. The 59 year old woman was standing in the roadway when deputies contacted her. After an investigation, deputies arrested the woman for possession of methamphetamine and possession of narcotic paraphernalia (ref -04538).
