Weekly Blotter: Deputies Make 23 Arrests in Valencia

Zone 5-Valencia reported nineteen Part-1 Crimes during the past week. The criminal incidents included residential burglaries, grand theft, and petty theft/shoplifting from local businesses.

There were three residential burglaries that occurred this past week. One occurred on the 24700 block Magic Mountain Parkway between the hours of 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm; another occurred on 27000 block of Victoria Lane between the hours of 10:00 pm – 5:30 am and the last one occurred on the 24500 block of Alicante Drive between the hours of 9:00 pm- 6:00 am. Items stolen were tools and electronics. In each case, entries were made via unlocked garage side doors and by prying a sliding glass door. Please remember to lock and secure all doors and windows in your home.

A grand theft occurred on the 24700 block of Mcbean Parkway between the hours of 11:00 am- 12:00 pm. The item stolen was an Apple laptop computer that was left unsecured in an unlocked classroom.

Please be cautious of your surroundings and do not leave valuables unattended or visible in your vehicles.

There were 23 arrests made by proactive Santa Clarita deputies assigned to the Valencia area last week. Arrests included, burglary, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, warrants, petty and shoplifting from local businesses.
