A stretch of Sierra Highway is about to get all gussied up.
The city of Santa Clarita is now accepting bids for a construction project that will bring raised medians, with landscaping and hardscape, to Sierra Highway between Friendly Valley Parkway and Via Princessa.
The estimated cost is $550,000, and bids are due by Jan. 25.
