The Saugus girls won their first Foothill League game, 3-2, over West Ranch. Brenna Savoie scored two goals and Angie Weiner, pictured at right, scored one for the Centurions.
Saugus led 2-0 in the first half before Valerie Mercado scored on a penalty kick in the final seconds of the half.
West Ranch tied the score, 2-2, on a goal by Samy Richards in the opening minutes of the second half. But Savoie’s second goal of the game in the 69th minute proved to be the difference.
