Wanted: Belden Robinette-Faulk, Burglary Suspect

459_041713dSanta Clarita Valley detectives named a suspect who they say was caught on camera in a Valencia garage theft.

Belden Robinette-Faulk, a 25-year-old Santa Clarita Valley resident, was identified by deputies through photos that were taken by a security system in a Valencia burglary victim’s home, said Detective Mike Marino of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Robinette-Faulk is being sought on a first-degree residential burglary charge, Marino said, adding that an official with the District Attorney’s Office agreed to prosecute and a judge signed off on his arrest warrant.

“The victim had camera in his garage, and once we obtained the images from the camera, we were able to pass them around to deputies and detectives working in the Santa Clarita station,” Marino said.

If convicted, Robinette-Faulk, who has distinctive tattoos and a “very minor record,” faces a maximum penalty of six years, Marino said.

Robinette-Faulk is not believed to be associated with any gang, according to Marino.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies sought help in identifying the suspect for a string of residential burglaries in April.

The burglary occurred April 5 at approximately 2:20 p.m. in the 27000 block of Victoria Lane in Valencia.

The suspect gained access to the interior of the victim’s garage through the rear pedestrian door, according to the Nixle report.

The report described Robinette-Faulk, whose name also appears as Robinette-Faulk, as a white male with a shaved head with tattoos on his right arm and the back of his neck.

The victim’s security surveillance system picked up a number of still photographs of the suspect taking items from inside the garage. Before leaving the garage, the suspect also stole the surveillance camera itself; however, the images remained in the system.

Other garages in the area were also burglarized, and it is possible this suspect is also responsible.
