Tryouts Open Friday for Six Flags Fright Fest

sfmmfrightfestSix Flags Magic Mountain will  hold auditions for its annual Fright Fest celebration on July 26,  August 2,  August 9,  August 23, starting at 5 p.m. each night. On August 17, auditions are expected  to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Six Flags Magic Mountain is casting roles for actors, athletes, freaks of nature, demented types, action performers and more for the upcoming Halloween season. These roles requires frightening and performing for patrons of the park in a variety of haunted houses and areas of the theme park. The auditions will be held at the park’s Magic Moments Theater.


Last year, over 1000 people applied and 400-500 were selected, said Sue Carpenter, Six Flags Magic Mountain communications manager.


“Halloween is the second most celebrated holiday in our nation, and over at Six Flags, we have the most fun. It’s a fun and great way to spend the Halloween holiday and get paid at the same time. We encourage everyone to come audition,” said Carpenter.


The Valencia theme park offers competitive wages, lots of perks and a wide variety of jobs during Fright Fest. Team members must be available to work all 13 dates of Fright Fest during October. Fright Fest starts on October 4 and runs every weekend until the end of October.


Six Flags Magic Mountain is looking for “athletic people who move well with unbridled energy, boundless enthusiasm, and a love of the night for the annual Fright Fest event… If you are outgoing, hard-working and like to have fun during the Halloween season, we’d love to meet you. Everyone is welcome to audition- second wage earners, stay at home parents, retirees, teachers, and students,” according to a statement provided by Six Flags Magic Mountain.
