Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives have released the name of a suspect they’re looking for in connection with Valencia garage thefts that occurred in April; A saugus family is without their dog tonight because it’s being quarantined for observation after it was found carrying a rabid bat in it’s mouth.

Santa Clarita’s jobless rate spiked six-tenths of a percent in June as 7,800 private school teachers across the County filed unemployment claims; College of the Canyons received reports from residents regarding self proclaimed COC students who soliciting funds door-to-door for a college newspaper; local weather.


Finally:

California Lutheran University has honored several top students for their academic achievements including 2013 class valedictorian Jeriann Lynds of Santa Clarita.
