Antelope Valley Expected to Overheat Friday; Cooling Centers Open

mikeantonovich[Supv. Antonovich] - The Los Angeles County Health Officer has declared a Heat Alert as very high temperatures have been forecast for the Antelope Valley on Friday, July 19, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.


Cooling centers are now open throughout Los Angeles County to provide relief from the heat for the elderly and others who face heat-related health difficulties and stress.
