Former Santa Clarita mayor and current City Council member Frank Ferry has apparently been injured in a fall in Washington, D.C.
According to an e-mail from Pete Ferry, the council member’s brother, Ferry suffered fractures to a leg and his left shoulder at his hotel last week.
“He was near a loading dock near his hotel,” the e-mail from Pete Ferry states. “He grabbed a pole to help hoist him up, but his arm couldn’t handle his weight. This (caused) him to fall backwards…”
The e-mail also states Ferry is “healing slowly” and that the family hopes to get him home as soon as he is able to travel.
