The COC men’s and women’s track and field teams participated in the WSC North Meet on Friday afternoon and came in third and fifth place, respectively.
On the men’s side, Tim White broke a school record in the triple jump, leaping 15.0 meters, and came in first in the high jump and second in the long jump.
Anthony Fowler came in first in the 400 (48.34), for the second-best time in the state this season, and second in the 200 with a time of 22.5.
The men also won the 4×400-meter relay in a time of 3:18.11, for the second-best time posted this year in the state.
For the women, Jillian Hurley cleared 3.05 meters in the pole vault, good for first place, while Lauren Ross came in fourth place with a time of 13.38 in the 100-meter dash.
