This notice announces the 2013 California Employer Advisory Council Veterans Employer of the Year Awards. The CEAC sponsors this annual event, with support from the Employment Development Department. These awards serve to recognize employers who consistently demonstrate positive policies toward U.S. Veterans in hiring and promotion, as well as through employee retention efforts, ongoing training, and benefits.
Eligibility for a 2013 Veterans Employer of the Year Award is limited to California employers who are in compliance with all national, State, and local laws, and in good standing with the State of California. Individuals, agencies, or organizations may submit a nomination with the signed permission of the nominated employer. Employers may also nominate themselves.
You can obtain a nomination form for the 2013 CEAC Veterans Employer of the Year Awards at this website ceac.org/veterans/report/, or this web link. Completed nomination forms must be received or postmarked no later than March 1, 2013, to be considered.
Winners will be notified in April 2013 and honored at the CEAC Veterans Employer of the Year Awards ceremony at the Double Tree Hotel in Ontario, California, on May 9, 2013.
