Santa Clarita Sheriff’s deputies responded to an attempted robbery at the Sam’s Club on Carl Boyer Drive in the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 3.
According to Sgt. Richard Nagler, a male adult with a handgun entered the store at approximately 2 a.m. and tried to round up several employees to hold them in the back of the store.
When other employees approached him, he fled, and by the time deputies arrived on the scene he was gone.
No one was reported injured during the incident.
