The City of Santa Clarita is looking for eco-minded artists, green businesses and ecologically-concerned community groups to participate as vendors at the Earth Arbor Day Festival, hosted on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.
The Earth Arbor Day Festival Exhibitor and Vendor Application is available online through Friday, March 1, 2013 at GreenSantaClarita.com
Presented by the SCV Family of Water Suppliers, this celebration is looking for vendors to showcase their artistic, sustainable and green activities to help educate the community about eco-friendly living. As this is a zero-waste event, interested vendors should keep in mind that all products used at the event must be recyclable.
“The annual Earth Arbor Day Festival is a celebration of our community’s commitment to environmental consciousness, preservation and protection. We are asking local vendors to help us show residents how they can go green through hand-on activities, displays, games and entertainment featured at the Earth Day event,” said Mayor Bob Kellar.
The festival offers a variety of hands-on activities and educational exhibitor displays to help the community live green, including energy and climate change, alternative transportation, green building, children, trees, community service, health and sustainable living booths.
Booth space fee for accepted commercial vendors is $100 and $50 for accepted non-profit organizations. Exhibit equipment, such as tables, chairs and canopies, is available for rent at an additional cost.
