Morning-after the 2012 crash into a tree on Sand Canyon Road south of Alamo Canyon Road.
A 29-year-old woman was killed Wednesday night when her vehicle slammed into a tree on Sand Canyon Road just south of Alamo Canyon Road.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was not wearing a seatbelt.
The collision occurred at 11:27 p.m. in almost exactly the same place passenger Dakota Demott was killed on Jan. 10, 2012, when the car in which he was riding slammed into a tree on Sand Canyon Road south of Alamo Canyon Road.
The victim in Wednesday night’s crash was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses are encouraged to call Detective Travis Kelly of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121.
