First-ever community day at the county’s brand-new Interpretive Center at Vasquez Rocks in Agua Dulce – with crafts and an archaeological dig for kids, face painting, music, guided hikes, cowboy poetry, animal exhibits from the Placerita Nature Center, food, raffle prizes and a book signing by the author of a new biography of local Indian elder Charlie Cooke.
