Trey Williams
Valencia grad Trey Williams, currently a freshman at College of the Canyons, was drafted in the 7th round of Major League Baseball’s First-Year Player Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies.
Williams was taken by the Cardinals in the 11th round a year ago but chose instead to play at College of the Canyons.
The infielder hit .333 for the Cougars in 2013 with six home runs and 24 RBIs.
