The monthly Valley Industry Association luncheon will be flowing with ideas, as local water board member Ed Colley discusses the need for reliable water, Tuesday, May 21, at 11:45 a.m. at the Valencia Country Club.
Colley, a longtime member of the Castaic Lake Water Agency board, will discuss how water makes business possible, explore how safe, reliable water is key to every aspect of our lives and how even with increasing costs, tap water is still a true bargain.
“The need for clean, reliable water is something that affects every part of our valley,” VIA CEO and President Kathy Norris said. “I’m looking forward to Ed dipping into his well of water knowledge and sharing insights from which I know our business community will benefit.”
Reservations are required for the luncheon. Members who reserve by May 9 pay $40, or $45 between May 10-16. After May 16 the cost is $45. The cost for non-members is $50. “No shows” or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be billed. There is a $10 surcharge for attendees without a reservation. The Valencia Country Club is located at 27330 N. Tourney Road.
The luncheon is sponsored by the city of Santa Clarita, Poole and Shaffery, L/B/W Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., Mellady Direct Marketing, SCVTV and KHTS AM-1220.
