In a 4-1 vote Tuesday night, Santa Clarita’s city council asked city staff to start working on funding for a Convention Center in Santa Clarita; The City Council also recognized the Santa Clarita Swap Meet for 50 years of service; Congress has prohibited implementation of a new national delivery schedule for the United States Postal Service. The new schedule would have stopped Saturday delivery of mail items starting August 5th.
