One of the most thrilling softball games the SCV has seen in years, and its all caught on tape as the Valencia Vikings take home the win against the Saugus Centurions; Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s are seeking the public’s help to identify two people thought to be responsible for four separate school burglaries that happened during spring break.

In a 4-1 vote Tuesday night, Santa Clarita’s city council asked city staff to start working on funding for a Convention Center in Santa Clarita; The City Council also recognized the Santa Clarita Swap Meet for 50 years of service; Congress has prohibited implementation of a new national delivery schedule for the United States Postal Service. The new schedule would have stopped Saturday delivery of mail items starting August 5th.

On Friday night, local favorites Papafish celebrate the release of their new EP, “The Lab,” at the world-famous Troubadour in West Hollywood; Don’t miss Saturday night’s encore House Blend episode featuring legendary songwriter Jesse Barish at 10 pm. On Saturday morning starting at 9:30, there’s a “Walk-a-Thon” at Canyon High School.
