The City Of Santa Clarita’s second Rivendale Park and Open Space Master Plan Public Meeting will be Wednesday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
More than 60 participants for the 60-acre Rivendale Open Space area shared their ideas and feedback at the city’s community workshop was hosted on March 2, at Wiley Canyon Elementary School.
Participants included numerous individuals representing the arts, the environment, trail users and volunteers as well as a Native American tribal representative.
Suggestions ranged from clearing the buildings from the front of the property, to the development of a performance and festival complex with an amphitheater and concession building.
Based on the first round of input, draft conceptual plan alternatives are being developed by RRM Design Group. Following preliminary review of these concept drawings by the City staff.
