After its Mar. 14 groundbreaking ceremony and a slew of pre-construction tasks, College of the Canyons has finally received the states approval to begin construction of its new Student Services/Administration Building.
“All contracts have been signed, bonds and insurance paperwork has been completed,” said Jim Schrage, Vice President of Facilities at COC, “The construction project will begin immediately.”
The $17.8 million, 4,600 sq. ft. student services building will house the financial aid office, transfer and career center and counseling center.
The Student Services/Administration Building is expected to be finished by Jan. 2015.
