The Leader-Telegram of Chippewa Falls, Wis., is reporting that Carol and John Garner of Santa Clarita were injured early Tuesday morning when their motor home overturned on a highway outside of town.
The media outlet cited a press release from the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office saying Carol Garner, 68, apparently fell asleep at the wheel. She sustained a broken arm and lacerations in the 1 a.m. collision.
Her husband, John Garner, 70, suffered minor injuries.
Both were taken to the Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, Wis.
