Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel leaves Saturday for a week-long trip to the Republic of Korea and Japan. The Navy will conduct an official investigation into the fatal shooting incident at the Washington Navy Yard. DoD employees should prepare for possible furloughs beginning October 1st if Congress fails to reach an agreement on funding the government.
