Last week, the following Part 1 crimes occurred in Canyon Country East:


(2) Aggravated Assaults, (1) Robbery, (1) Residential Burglary, (1) Shoplift and (3) GTAs.


An aggravated assault occurred near the 27500 block of Sierra highway. While doing laundry in the community wash room, the victim was attacked by an unknown suspect. During the attack, the victim was knocked to the ground where he hit his head and fell unconscious. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries. The case is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.


An aggravated assault occurred near the 18000 block of Soledad Canyon Road. The suspect approached the victim from behind and stabbed him in the back multiple times.


A strong arm robbery occurred near the 17900 block of Danielson Street. A pizza delivery man was attacked and had his money and pizza taken when the suspects placed a phony order to the location.


A residential burglary occurred near the 18000 block of Saratoga Way. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked garage and took car keys and miscellaneous personal items from a vehicle parked inside the garage.


A male suspect and a female suspect were arrested for a shoplift/burglary near the 19000 block of Golden Valley Road, when they failed to pay for items they concealed in a purse. Upon further investigation, the suspects were additional charged with narcotics related crimes.


An attempt vehicle theft occurred near the 27900 block of Solamint Road. The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and punched the ignition. The suspect also took the stereo and personal items.


A GTA occurred near the 29000 block of Mammoth Lane. A 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle was taken from the driveway of the location.
