Allison Lee
2013 Valencia High grad Allison Lee has advanced to the round of 16 in the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship at the Country Club of Charleston in South Carolina.
In her round of 32 match against Katelyn Dumbaugh of Goose Creek, South Carolina, the scoring was all square at the end of 18 holes, but Lee got the better of Dumbaugh on the 19th to win the match.
Lee, who is going to play for UCLA in the fall, is currently 5-up after nine holes in the round of 16 against Alexandra Harkins of Crystal Lake, Illinois. The winner will advance to Friday’s quarterfinals.
