Assemblyman Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, announced two new hires to his District staff. Erik Richardson will be the new Senior Field Representative in the District Office and Mary Bibb will be the Field Representative in Simi Valley.
Richardson is a California State University Northridge Graduate with a degree in Political Science and Santa Clarita native. He most recently was a Field Representative for L.A. City Councilmember Mitchell Englander.
“Erik’s knowledge and background as a Field Representative in the San Fernando Valley makes him a perfect addition to the office,” said Assemblyman Wilk, “I look forward to working with him.”
Bibb currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the City of Simi Valley Planning Commission and has served on the Commission since 2007. Bibb formerly managed the past two campaigns for U.S. Representative Elton Gallegly and is now the principle organizer and fundraiser for Gallegly’s continuing public service and charity activities. Bibb, and her husband Robert, have been residents of Simi Valley for 35 years and have two grown daughters, Emily and Hannah.
“Mary’s relationship with Simi Valley constituents and long standing commitment to that community makes her the obvious choice to round out our team,” said Wilk.
The 38th Assembly District encompasses Simi Valley, the northern section of the San Fernando Valley and most of the Santa Clarita Valley.
