The long awaited sequel to the beloved ’90s sitcom “Boy Meets World,” Titled “Girl Meets World,” has cast one of the final recurring actors for the new, soon-to-be favorite American family.
Elliott Mathews, portrayed by new to the scene actor Teo Halm, will be none other than the son of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) Matthews, and brother of “Spy Kids: All the Time in the World’s” star Rowan Blanchard who will be portraying the role of lead character Riley Matthews
In an act of excitement, Fishel tweeted over the casting news saying:

With the main characters now cast and the first scripts written, the show is said to begin filming by the end of this month. This of course is exciting news for all viewers who left the series depressed at the fact that the show they grew up with ended with questions that began to arise.
According to a synopsis from IMDB, the show will take place 10 years after the original series ended and that it will revolve around their daughter, Riley, and the life lessons the world throws at her.
For those wondering whether or not other characters from the original series will appear in this generations reboot, there are currently no plans to bring back anyone else that had an impact on young Cory’s world. However, the script writers, as well as previous cast members seem to be more than open to the idea.
