Solo Crash on SR-14 in Agua Dulce Sends 3 to Hospital

Three people sustained serious injuries when a Dodge truck rolled down a freeway embankment Monday afternoon in Agua Dulce.

Battalion Chief Randy Alva of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said the truck was traveling northbound on SR-14 and passed the Agua Dulce Canyon Road off-ramp when it sailed off of the freeway, rolling down an embankment and coming to a rest on the northbound freeway on-ramp.

The solo crash occurred at about 4 p.m. Two victims were airlifted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the third was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia.

All three were trauma patients, Alva said.
