A pedestrian who was hit by Dodge Ram on Monday in the Circle J tract in Saugus has died.
William Leng, 59, of Newhall, died at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning, said Lt. Mark Hershey of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Leng was struck at about 8:45 a.m. by a truck driven by a woman whose identity has not been released by sheriff’s officials, according to Deputy Josh Dubin of the SCV Station.
The collision took place near the intersection of Via Princessa Road and Oak Ridge Drive.
Hershey said all fatal collisions are investigated, but no charges have been filed in the incident.
Drugs and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.
