This week Stevenson Ranch had 11 reported Part-1 crimes. There were 2 commercial burglaries, 1 petty theft, 5 vehicle burglaries, 2 incidents of shoplifting and 1 vehicle theft.
A male and female were arrested at a business located in the 24000 block of Pico Canyon Road after they were attempting to pawn items that were stolen from an open garage earlier in the day.
An unknown male cashed several checks on a closed account at a bank located in the 24000 block of Pico Canyon Road.
Several packages were stolen from the doorstep of a home located in the 25000 block of Chase Avenue.
Vehicle burglaries occurred at the La Fitness, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Vons, and Game Day parking lots.
A male was arrested for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
A female was seen stealing items from Ralph’s Grocery Store. When she was contacted by loss prevention she ran to her car and drove away. The investigation is ongoing.
Two additional narcotic arrests were made by proactive deputies.
Once again, items are being stolen from unlocked garages. Make sure to always close and lock garage doors. Always lock your vehicles and do not leave personal items visible. If you must leave them in the car, secure them in the trunk.
