Despite the ambiguity of their postseason fate, The Master’s College women’s soccer team continues to make its season one for the record books by boasting two athletes on the 2013 Women’s Soccer GSAC Scholar-Athlete list.
Representing the Lady Mustangs are Natasha Coyle (La Habra, CA) and Devon Goff (Santa Clarita, CA). To qualify, an athlete must be a junior or senior academically and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The Lady Mustangs’ 2013 record currently sits at 15-5 (6-4 GSAC). TMC has an indefinite halt on their season until Sunday (Nov. 17), when the squad will find out if it has been selected as one of seven at-large teams for the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round. This selection will be based on the final Modified Ratings Percentage Index (MRPI).

The Golden State Athletic Conference has announced that two athletes from The Master’s College men’s soccer team have made it onto the GSAC Scholar-Athlete list.
Representing the Mustangs are Kenny Gardner (Palmdale, CA) and Darren Lightfoot (Colorado Springs, CO). To qualify, an athlete must be a junior or senior academically and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The Mustangs finished their 2013 campaign on Friday, November 9, in the GSAC Tournament Semifinal when Concordia bested TMC 4-2, ending the Mustangs’ season at 5-12-1 (3-7 GSAC).
