Search Underway in Valencia for Armed Robbery Suspects

LASD_BadgeDeputies are searching for two suspects in an attempted robbery of a pedestrian in Valencia.

According to the sheriff’s crime broadcast, the female victim was near the intersection of Arroyo Park Drive and Bellis Court at about 4:40 p.m. when she was approached by a man identified only as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-8, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The man reportedly opened his jacket (or hoodie) to reveal a handgun. He demanded money and the woman’s ring.

She said no.

He ran and met up with a second suspect, also described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-8, wearing light-colored clothing.
