Peripheral Neuropathy occurs when the nerves branching out from the spinal cord to all parts of the body are damaged. The most common symptoms are sharp shooting or burning pains, tingling or numbness, which can also affect digestion, blood pressure, breathing, and in extreme cases paralysis, organ and gland dysfunction may also occur.
