Under the direction of the CEO, develops and manages all financial aspects of SDFHC to ensure soundness and efficiency, including financial statements, accounting practices, maintenance of fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. Prepares reports for the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors.
This position is responsible for general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls, and billing and accounts receivable, payroll, and accounts payable functions.
The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of a BS degree, accounting experience in a nonprofit setting, preferably healthcare, experience with government contracts, monitoring and reporting.
