Main Street was transformed into a winter wonderland Saturday night as the City Council flipped the switch to illuminate thousands of lights and a 23-foot Christmas tree in front of the Old Town Newhall Library.
Dubbed “Light Up Main Street,” the event was hosted by the City of Santa Clarita and sponsored by the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation and the SCV Auto Dealers Association (Valencia Auto Center). The Canyon Theatre Guild opened the show with caroling.
