Frost Advisory in Effect Through Thursday Morning

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERAThe wind has died down, but Southland deserts and valley regions are in for another round of sub-freezing temperatures, according to the latest advisory from the National Weather Service.

Thermometers should drop as low as 28 to 32 degrees across wind-sheltered regions of the Santa Clarita Valley late Wednesday night through early Thursday morning, with a frost advisory in effect Thursday from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m.

A frost advisory means frost is imminent. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

It will be even colder in portions of the Antelope, Cuyama and San Luis Obispo counties, where temperatures should dip into the teens.
