3 Lady Mustangs Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced that 492 women’s soccer student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Three seniors represented the Mustangs: Rachel Meyers (Auburn CA), Kristyn Richards (Lancaster, CA), and Janelle Sullivan (Riverside, CA).

To be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director for this honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
