The local Unitarian Universalist Church of Santa Clarita is pleased to announce the opening of their “Chalice Center” space in popular downtown Newhall for some unique gatherings which the public is welcome to attend. Call 661-254-7866 for further information.
Meditation Sessions
Each week Gary Sanders leads a 20-30 minute guided mindful meditation followed by a brief discussion. He tries to keep the weekly sessions varied. All are welcome, no experience necessary.
When: Thursdays, June 13, 20 and 27 at 7:30 pm.
Where: UU of SCV Chalice Center, 22916 Lyons Ave, Suite 2B, Newhall, CA.
Price: Suggested donation of $5 to 10, but no one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.
Monthly Drum Circle
Please join the new monthly drum circle, led by Burl Bolerjack of the Spiritual Unity Movement. Drums are provided or you may bring your own. This event is open to adults and teens (with one parent in attendance). The Unitarian Universalist Congregation sponsors it, but you needn’t be a church member to attend. A $10 donation is requested.
